Profile of Lecturer Julie Blackman BSc RN ENB 100 PGDE Following a degree in Human Biology, Julie did her nurse training at St Georges Hospital in London, qualifying in 1985. Since the late 80's she has gradually built up her intensive care expertise by working and learning in a number of ITUs'. For the past 12 years she has worked on the intensive care unit at the Royal United Hospital in Bath. Throughout this time she has been involved with teaching and learning for staff and students and at present is Practice Development Sister, facilitating the professional development of over 55 staff.
