Profile of Lecturers

The current lecture has been written by members of the Education and Training Department at the Meningitis Trust.

Bev Hart joined the Trust in 1999 from the University of the West of England, where she worked as a Research Associate in the Psychology Department. Prior to this she spent six years working in an adult intensive care unit whilst completing a degree in psychology. Since joining the trust she has undertaken the position of Education and Training Manager.

Sarah Booker joined the Trust in 2001 as Education and Training Co-ordinator. After working as an intensive care nurse for eight years, she embarked on a degree in psychology and health science before returning to the health service to work in audit and clinical governance.

Dr Daphne Holt joined the trust in 1999 after 30 years in medical research and education. Her initial brief was to develop an education initiative for the Meningitis Trust, which focused on computer-aided and e-learning. She now lives and works in France where, as Business Development Manager, she is furthering the development of the Trust's international strategy.
