Judith Moreton Judith is one of the first nurse appointments as a District Immunisation Co-ordinator. She was appointed in 1992, a role that expanded on her work as health visitor to, and improving uptake of immunisation in the Traveller Gypsy community in Oxfordshire. She continued to be a “needle where her mouth is,” offering advice to the concerned and the jab to the unwary. In July 2001, Judith Moreton became the Immunisation Programme Manager and Technical Advisor at Health Promotion England and has continued this role at NHS Immunisation Information, since HPE closed in March 2002.
